I am passionate about offering insights and learning to
therapists. I have Certificates in the Clinical Supervision of Integrative Psychotherapy and CBT, and many years’ experience of providing supervision in the NHS and in Private Practice.
What you bring to supervision is your choice. The typical key elements of Clinical Supervision needed for your accrediting body, such as case presentation, case discussion, role play and live supervision, are all given time and space.
Additionally, I encourage the exploration of themes that arise. We can delve deeper into, not only what may be going on for the client, but also what may be concurrently occurring in you, outside your awareness. I encourage you to be open to looking at your own emotional responses to client material.
We can consider how your response is being driven and how we can unknowingly collude with, and perpetuate the client’s dysfunctional patterns.
I work with CBT therapists who are keen to expand their practice, who want to be flexible in their practice.
I’m happy to share about the things I struggle with and the mistakes I’ve made. I want you to feel comfortable doing the same, we are all learning. It’s so important to be able to see what we offer to clients, and to be able to believe in and communicate that.
